Nuzlocke X-Chapter 9

Alex stood there for a few seconds before he laughed and gave a pat on Trevor’s back.

Alex: That’s a good one! “I feel I was made for it.”

It wasn’t long until Trevor started to laugh along with Alex and smiled awkwardly.

Trevor: Yeah…it was a joke.

Professor Sycamore sighed and paced back and forth. He stopped and turned to the group with a smile on his face.

Sycamore: I want you all to study this new thing called Mega Evolution.

Everyone in the room was captivated by just the name of this. Alex and Serena had sparkles in their eyes from anticipation.

Alex: This sounds awesome! How is it done?

Sycamore: You take the stone that I just gave you and go to…Oh, what’s that place where that guru lives?

He stopped for a moment and thought, Sina knew it was going to be a while before he would get it so she cut in.

Sina: Shalour City.

Sycamore: Shalour City! Go to Shalour City and learn about the new Mega Evolution. There you can learn about the stone’s potential. All we know is that it has a connection to stones and not all pokémon have mega forms. So, I hired the best stone analyzer to help me analyze mega stones.

Meanwhile in Hoenn

Steven: Alright guys, I’m going somewhere. Drake you’re in charge until I get back. Don’t let someone take my title.

Sidney: What?! Why him?

Phoebe: Meh.

Glacia: I should be the person in charge. I can beat that old man’s ass!

Drake: Aye sir. I will run this place like a fine ship.

Steven walked down the hallway and as he disappeared, a figure appeared in the hallway.

???: Fabulous~!

Drake: What in the name of Davy Jones Locker?!

Back at Lumiose

Sycamore: Unfortunately, he won’t be here for a while. So you guys just go do what you feel will make you the best.

Serena: So if I master this new thing, then it will set me apart from the rest of you!

Sycamore: Serena, I didn’t give you a stone…

Serena didn’t pay attention to the professor, but instead was in her own little world. She rubbed her hands together as her pupils shrunk in size and her hair began to frizz and split.

Serena: Then, it’s settled! I’ll go learn mega evolution and the rest of you will eat my dust!

She ran off before she could be reasoned with. That left Alex with the Shauna, Trevor, and the Professor.

Trevor: I am going to go and get Tierno from where I left him. Hopefully he is still in the same place.


Meanwhile in Hearthome City

Tierno: The other place was fun, but this place is amazing!

Fatina: Dear lord, those moves are atrocious! Get down from the stage, immediately.

Tierno: Never!

BANG

Tierno felt a little light headed and fell down on the floor, limp as a dish rag. A security guard walked up and pulled out a dart that was in Tierno’s neck. After that, he dragged the body away to the Officer Jenny of the town.


Back at Lumiose

Trevor: I have to go now. I feel that Tierno had his fill of theaters.

Trevor left the group, and then there were three.

Alex: Oh yeah! Professor, my mom wanted me to give you this.

Gave Mom’s Package to Prof. Sycamore

Sycamore: For me? Oh, she shouldn’t have.

Alex: Alright. Come on kids. Kids?

Alex looked behind him and saw that his kids dozed off while they listened to Sycamore’s talk. He couldn’t help but smile at this. Then, he stomped his foot and made a salute.

Alex: Attention!

Then, like a group at boot camp, they all got up and lined up with great speed. It wasn’t long before Alex started to laugh because he couldn’t keep a serious pose unless he needed to, and his children followed suit.

Alex: We are leaving now. So, what do we say to the Professor?

Entire Party: Thank you Professor.

Alex: Oh by the way professor, I’m going to destroy that billboard out front.

Sycamore: Please do. I keep getting billed for mental therapy and trips to eye doctor. I mean, what’s so bad about a billboard of me?

Dexio: Professor, it’s the pose that you are in that makes everyone go blind.

Sycamore: Nonsense, everyone outside. It’s time for an experiment.

Everyone walked to the elevator and jammed themselves in. Luckily, Alex returned his pokémon so that there would be more room for the Dexio, Sina, and Shauna. They all walked outside with their backs towards the buildings. Shauna and Alex both sent out their pokémon in case they were going through with the destruction of the billboard.

Sycamore: Everyone, turn around…now!

Everyone turned around and looked up. Not much less than ten seconds later, everyone’s were literally on fire.

Sycamore: I see what you mean. That is a horrible pose.

Alex: Can we destroy it now?

Sycamore: Please go ahead.

Alex: Alright, let’s see. Barry, pull it down with vine whip.

Barry shot his vines out and grabbed the sides of the billboard with intentions to follow his orders. He tried to pull, but the billboard was too heavy and he was just a Bulbasaur. However, he felt something run up his vines to the billboard. He saw that Kid and Glenn ran up the vines and they were going to do an attack.

Kid: Let’s destroy this thing.

Glenn: Right!

They jumped off the vines and faced the billboard and got ready to attack.

Alex: Glenn, bubble! Kid, thundershock!

Glenn and Kid: Got it.

With that, they destroyed the billboards to large bits. However, debris started to fall. Alex turned towards Shauna.

Alex: Little help please.

Shauna: Of course. Fennekin, burn the debris to ashes!

Fennekin: Oh yeah! I set fire to the debris, watch it fall as it disintegrates!

True to his words, the Fennekin set fire to the debris and it disintegrated immediately. Before the ashes could fall, Sycamore had an idea and turned towards Mary.

Sycamore: Hey, can you use your gust attack to blow the debris into this jar.

Mary: Of course, I will do it.

She flew up and used gust to blow all the debris into the jar that Sycamore had in his hand. When he sealed the lid, everyone heard an angry scream.

???: What happened to my freaking billboard?!

They all turned to see a tall man with orange hair. He was wearing a black jacket of sorts, and his hair was arranged in the style close to either a lion or a triangle chip, his facial hair only backed up this claim. When Sycamore saw the man, he immediately cringed at the man.

Sycamore: Oh crud. Hey Lysandre.

Lysandre: Don’t pull that on me! That billboard was my gift to you. It was extremely beautiful and everyone in the company greenlighted it.

Alex mentally paused at the mention of Lysandre’s company. Alex wondered what kind of company this guy would have.

Sycamore: I hate to tell you Lysandre, but a billboard of me bending over and showing my *bleep* while *bleep*ing, AND bending over is not beautiful in anyway.

Lysandre: It was about the symbolic message rather than the visual.

Sycamore: Not buying it old friend. Not buying it.

Lysandre: Darn. And who are these kids? Are they your new trainers?

Sycamore: Yep.

Lysandre: Oh, and they have holo casts. Did you kids know that I am the president of the company that makes those devices? Knowledge is powerful.

Alex and Shauna both nodded their heads in unison at this man’s questions.

Lysandre: It was fun meeting you two and it was especially fun to see you again Sycamore. Mark my words, I will make a beautiful object in my own beautiful world.

After that, Lysandre walked away with a small grumble but no one heard what he said.

Alex: Well that happened. Well, I’m going to be on my way now. Come on guys it’s time to go. See ya Shauna and Professor Sycamore.

Alex signaled all of his pokémon who were played off in the distance and began to walk away. However, there was a twinkle in the sky as a ball zoomed towards the ground. Alex heard the air hiss as he turned around. As he did he was hit in the face by a purple ball and was knocked to the ground while the ball bounced on the ground near Alex.

Shauna: Oh no, Alex! Are you okay?

Alex got up from his fallen position and rubbed his head.

Alex: Yeah, I’m fine. I wasn’t expecting a ball to hit me in my face! Speaking of which...

He picked up the ball in question and raised it up to his view.

Alex: What kind of ball is this?

The ball had a purple top with two large pink ovals on it. It had a small M in the middle of the top half. Other than that, it looked like a normal pokéball. When Shauna looked at the ball she gasped and put a hand to her mouth.

Shauna: That’s a masterball! Those are extremely rare. It’s said to be able to catch any pokémon! This is incredible.

Sycamore took interest in this conversation and walked towards Alex and Shauna.

Sycamore: She’s right you know. That type of pokéball is very hard to come by.

Alex: There’s a pokémon inside it though. Hang on, there is a note on this!

Alex pulled off the note and read out loud.

Dear whomever reads this,
Please take care of the pokémon inside this ball with the up-most importance. She is like a baby to me and I want you to treat her likewise. I just want her to be in good hands. So please, take care of little Trisha.

Alex: Aw, the signature is all smudged. But that just raises the question. Who is Trisha?

Shauna: Be careful Alex. That might be a very powerful pokémon!

Sycamore: Again, Shauna is right. Who knows what could be in that ball.

Alex: Okay.

With that Alex pushed the middle button of the master ball and then there was a bright light. After the light faded there was a little cloth that yawned, yet it had a sparkle when it came out. Her eyes were still closed at it frantically looked around and it tried to float. It stayed afloat for a few seconds, but it had trouble and couldn’t stay completely afloat so she bobbed occasionally. When she opened her eyes, the first thing that she set her eyes on was Alex, and it immediately flew towards him.

Trisha: Goo?

Alex took out his party tool that was installed in his pokédex and checked the level of this pokémon.

Alex: Level 1? No wonder she said goo. She’s a baby.

Shauna: Uhh…Professor. Who’s that pokémon?

Sycamore: That, Shauna, is a Shuppet. It seems to be a Shuppet of a different color though, which is incredibly rare in any situation. I think the league made a rule about this.

He pulled out a piece of paper, and on it said: If a trainer was to find or receive a shiny pokémon, then he/she may keep it without regulation to the new nuzlocke challenge.

While Sycamore gave the explanation, Alex patted Trisha on her head.

Alex: And you guys said she would be some kind of monster. She is as dangerous as a little baby.

Trisha made cooing and giggling noises as Alex scooped her up in his hands and rocked her gently.

Alex: See. Harmless.

Everyone gathered around Alex, and true to his words Trisha was like a baby. Alex then held Trisha in front of him with Sycamore and Shauna behind him.

Alex: Can you speak yet?

Trisha: Ahh!

A cold wind rushed out of her mouth and caught everyone off guard. Immediately, everyone was frozen solid up to their necks, except Alex was frozen completely with the exception of his arms. Trisha continued to giggle while Sycamore and Shauna trembled, both from the cold and surprise.

Sycamore: They don’t normally learn that. Shuppets don’t learn any ice type moves.

Shauna: Really, then this must be a special one.

All of Alex’s pokémon gathered around him, while Trisha continued to babble. Kid poked him twice, while Suzy tried to calm down Mary who freaked out if their father was going to be alright.

Kid: He’s going to be fine right?

5 minutes later

Alex walked out of the Pokémon Center with healed pokémon and a new rotation on hand. As Alex walked to the next route of his adventure and he rocked Trisha to sleep as he while his children walked next to him. He saw Shauna enter a video building, but he decided against going in there. While on their way to the new route, Trisha slowly woke up, unknown to everyone, and saw a mannequin that wore a big purple hat. Trisha let out a small giggle and smiled at this mannequin and uttered her first word.

Trisha: Mama.
