Nuzlocke X-Chapter 12

The next day in Camphrier Town had arrived, and everyone got a well-deserved rest. Alex and his pokémon had just woken up, and they got ready for the new day. Unfortunatley they complained about waking up, so he placed them all in his pokemon until they needed to be called out. He walked out of the pokemon center and was about to leave for Route 7 when he was stopped by a random person that wore a hoodie. The hoodie covered his body, and the hood covered the face. The one thing that the hoodie could not hide was the definite hunch on the person’s back. If Alex were to guess the person’s age, he would guess that the person would be a teenager.

???: You can’t go this way at the moment. I highly insist that you stop by the town’s castle. It is very gorgeous, and is going to be worth your time.

Alex held his hands out, as to not be rude and turned down the offer.

Alex: Thanks for the offer, but I have to get going to the next place.

He tried to walk past the person again, but he was lifted off of the ground by the person. For being short, this person had strength! He lifted Alex with one hand, and that hand grabbed Alex by his face. All Alex could see was the person’s large hand and that was it.

???: I said, stop by the CASTLE!

With that final word, the person threw Alex like a baseball towards the direction of the castle. Thankfully, Alex’s pokémon were in their pokéballs because they wanted to sleep a little more, otherwise they would all be in a panic right now about the wellbeing of their dad. The person calmed down after the throw and realized what he had done. Sure he was ordered not to let anyone pass and he was determined to carry it out, but he took it too far. As he fell to the ground on his knees, his hood fell off his head and reveled his long black hair, his rugged extremely pale face.  He pulled out his Holo-Cast and called his assistant that was in the town.

Frank: Shauna, someone is heading towards you.

**In Shabboneau Castle**

Shauna was in the process of an interrogation to get information. However, the person she talked to wasn’t very helpful.

Shauna: I’ll say this again, for the last time. What do you know about Mega Evolution?

Civilian: Garsh lady, I already told you what I know. This town’s history, and how to play flutes. That’s all I know.

Shauna sighed and turned around. She crossed her arms and made pouted as she realized that was all the information she was going to get out of him.

Shauna: Phooey. I’m getting nowhere with this.

*RING RING*

As Shauna answered her phone, she could have sworn that she heard someone’s scream. It sounded far away, so she didn’t pay much attention to it.

Frank: Shauna, someone is heading towards you.

*CLICK*

Shauna cocked her head at the possibilities of what Frank meant, but then her questions were soon answered by an action. Shauna was pushed out of the way by the man she previously talked to and heard a loud crash followed by some debris and bricks fall on the ground in a clatter.

Alex: Aw man, that’s going to hurt in the morning.

Alex dislodged himself from the wall that he was thrown into, and took in his surroundings. He had to admit, the guy at the gate was right. This castle is breathtaking and beautiful. He looked behind him, and saw the crater that he made.

Alex: Sorry about the hole. Here.

Alex gave the man money to fix the hole, but the man strangely pushed the money back to Alex.

Civilian: Gu-uh! You don’t have to do that mac, we’ll fix that dent ourselves.

As the man finished, another man rushed in out of breath.

Civilian 2: We got a problem Guy! IT’S BACK!

Guy : Garsh, it’s back so soon? I’ll have a look.

Alex and Shauna looked at each other as they followed the man outside back to the gate, where Frank threw Alex. Shauna knew that Frank was already long gone, so she knew that the secret plan had already worked. They arrived at the large bridge and Alex was taken back by the massive blob that was on the bridge. The blob moved occasionally and a loud snore would come out of its mouth every so often.

Guy : Yep, the Snorlax is back. I always wonder why it always choses this bridge to nap at.

Civilian 2: Do you have the flute to wake it up?

Guy : Uh-yuch, nope. That guy from the other castle said he wanted to borrow it. He’ll return it, I’m sure of it.

With that statement, the civilian walked away and left the three people at the bridge. The other civilian sighed and looked at both Alex and Shauna.

Civilian 2: He’s never going to get that flute back. Can you two go get it? The castle is on the second pathway on the fork in the road before, ‘kay thanks bye.

He stormed off too with a confused Alex and Shauna left behind.

Alex: Welp, we got no choice but to find that flute, so let’s go.

Shauna: Okay!

Both of them went back up the road and took the alternative path to arrive at the main path to the palace, but suddenly Shauna stopped Alex. Alex looked at Shauna only to see fear in her eyes, he looked ahead and soon made the same face.

Alex: Oh no….Old lady tourists!

Sure enough, there were some old lady tourists who marveled at the gardens of the castle, the only bad part was that they stood on the only path to the main gate to get inside the castle. Alex shook a little with fear until he took a deep breath.

Alex: Shauna…

Shauna: Yeah.

Alex: Please, stay behind me. They are nothing compared to the perfume isle of a mall, and they will only go after one of us.

Shauna wanted to argue, but she saw the look of determination on Alex’s face and decided against it. However, on the inside Alex internally screamed in panic at the memories of the perfume isle. Alex gulped as he stepped forward walked down the path to the main gate and got the attention of all of the old lady tourists. It was not horrible, but it was bad because they pinched his cheek and showed him pictures of the grandkids and kids. The old ladies surrounded the two as they slowly moved up, luckily the plan worked so far and Alex was the one who received all the attention as Shauna grabbed Alex’s arm and followed close by for safety of not being dragged into an unnecessary conversation about stories of the old ladies youth. Finally, both of them made it to the gates and the old ladies finished their story and waved good bye to Alex and Shauna as they went back to where they were before. They thought it was all over until one old woman laughed lightly.

Granny: Those two make a sweet couple.

Both Alex and Shauna blushed as Shauna finally let go of Alex’s arm, they looked up and saw the gigantic main gate that was in front of them. A servant saw the pair, and walked up to them while he held his hand outwards towards them. He had a cocky smile on his face as he began to talk to the two.

Butler: The fee for entering is 1000 pokedollars. But you probably don’t….

Alex silenced the butler as he held 1000 pokedollars exactly in his hand. As the butler stood there with his mouth open, Alex and Shauna both walked through the front door of the palace.

In Parfum Palace

Alex and Shauna were both in awe of the inside of the palace. There were golden statues everywhere and paintings on every wall in the halls. They continued to walk until they heard a ruckus further down the halls. Both of them walked further down the hall and made faces of confusion as they saw a very fat man look around with an extremely worried look on his face.

???: SWEETY! SWEETUMS! Where is my little Furfrou!?

Alex: His what now?

Shauna blushed as a thought ran through her mind.

Shauna: I think that’s an innuendo.

The man did not pay any attention to the two trainers as he brought up some sort of whistle object to his mouth and proceeded to blow on one end which caused a horrible sound to come out and both Shauna and Alex clamped their hands over their ears. The person looked around as if something would come running, but noting came. He huffed as he crossed his arms.

???: I would give anything for my darling Furfrou. Even this worthless flute I got from that goon! IT DOESN’T EVEN WORK! Why would they call something a Pokéflute, if it can’t even get the attention of a gosh darn dog!

The person continued to throw a tantrum, and Alex uncovered his ears.

Alex: If that’s the case, then he is lucky that my kids are still in their pokéballs.  Jokes aside, this man seems to have lost his Furfrou, so if we find it…

Alex grinned as he tried to get Shauna to catch his drift. It took a few moments, but she ultimately caught on.

Shauna: Then maybe he can give us the flute!

The two split up and tried to look for the person’s dog. Shauna took the upstairs while Alex took the garden maze.

5 minutes later

Alex: OH DEAR GOD RUN!

Alex ran out of the garden maze as he held Honey in his arms. The girl had a scared look on her face as her father ran. A Furfrou chased behind them with a rabid look on its face.

Honey: Why did you bring me out?!

Alex: I thought that your sweet scent would bring it out. And it worked too well!

They continued to run back into the palace where Alex ran into the fat man. Alex ran behind the man and pointed in front of him.

Alex: I found your dog.

Before the fat man could react he heard the sound of claws patter on the tile of the halls. He turned and saw his Furfrou headed towards him in his direction. The man gasped as he held his hands out for the Furfrou to run into them, and the pokémon saw this and tried its best to screech to a halt. However, since the floors were recently waxed by the butlers, the pokémon only slid into the hands of his owner. The Furfrou tried to struggle out of the man’s iron grip but could not and just hung its head in defeat.

???: You found my dear sweetums! For that I shall give you three things. Fireworks, a TM, and this flute!

Alex: Wow!

One firework show later

Alex: That was incredible! Right Shauna?

Shauna: Yeah! And we got the flute too, see you back at the bridge.

Shauna said quickly as she ran out of Alex’s sight. He wondered what got her so worried, but then dismissed it as she probably had something important to do. He later walked out of the palace and looked up at the starry night sky, he knew that it was going to take a long time to get this flute as he and Shauna went in the palace when the sun began to set. Alex took the flute out and began to twirl it in his hands as he walked back to the bridge a different route so he wouldn’t have to run into the old women again. As he walked through the tall jungle like grass, Alex felt a cold rough surface latch onto his neck and he felt something try to pull him. Instinctively he did what any trainer would do, he grabbed the cold surface and pulled it towards him, which turned out to be a tongue, and attached to the tongue was a lizard of some kind. Alex held the tongue of the lizard for a few more seconds while the lizard practically bounced up and down.

Alex: Can I help you?

The lizard tried to talk, but unfortunately Alex had her tounge. Alex noticed the red horizontal zig-zag stripe on her belly and immidiatly jumped to a conclusion.

Alex: You’re a pokemon! Welcome aboard.

Before the lizard could react, Alex lightly tapped it with a pokeball and successfully caught her. He stood there for a few moments as he decided what her name would be.

Alex: I know! Your name will be Stripes.

GOT Stripes!

Species: Kecleon
Met at Lv. 11 in Route 6
Ability: Color Change
Quiet
Mischievous

The ball dissipated into pixels as Alex made his way back to Camphrier Town to make a quick party change. After that he finally went back to the bridge where Guy, the other man, and Shauna stood.

Guy: Hey look at that. He’s got the flute! I’ll just play that right now.

As Guy took the flute he began to play, and as he did the Snorlax moved in its sleep until it final woke up. It did a flip and landed on its feet easily dwarfing everyone on the bridge as it was 6’11 “.

???: Whoever woke me up is in a wild ride!

He turned and looked at the nearest person, and it was Alex.

???: I hope you’re ready to get rocked kid, because you’re about to be!

With that said, the fight on the bridge began.
